Recommended routes from Metro Moncloa
(Metro lines 3 and 6 )

1. Metro / Taxi from Moncloa

Metro to Moncloa station (Lines 3, 6). Grab a taxi (or hail an Uber, Cabify, Free Now (my taxi) or Cabify). A taxi ride from Moncloa takes 5 minutes.

Prices vary between ride apps and street taxis (white with a red stripe on the door). A street taxi from Metro Moncloa to the venue will cost approx. 5€ on Saturday or 6€ on Sunday, depending on traffic.

2. Metro / Bus from Moncloa

Option 1. *Preferred*
Metro to Moncloa station (Lines 3, 6) and Bus line 161 to the venue

  • 3 min walk to the bus. Get the exit (salida) to Paseo de Moret and then walk to Ave. de la Memoria vía Calle de Fernández de los Ríos.
  • 5 min bus ride with 5 stops. The 161 bus departs Moncloa every 15 mins. at 07:51, 08:06, 08:21, 08:36, 08:51, …, get off at “Puente de los Franceses”
  • 4 min walk to the venue (our volunteers will be close to the bus stop to show you the route to the venue)
  • 12 min total travel time from Moncloa

Option 2.
Metro to Moncloa station (Lines 3, 6) and Bus line 573 to the venue

  • 3 min walk to the bus. Get the exit (salida) to Paseo de Moret.
  • 5 min bus ride non-stop. The 573 bus departs Moncloa every 30 mins. at 07:28, 07:58, 08:28, 09:28, 09:58, 10:28, …, get off at “Puente de los Franceses”
  • 7 min walk to the venue (our volunteers will be close to the bus stop to show you the route to the venue)
  • 15 min total travel time from Moncloa, however bus frequency is low at every 30 minutes

3. Metro / walk from Moncloa

Metro to Moncloa station (Lines 3, 6) and then walk through the park (Parque del Oeste) to the venue. The walk takes about 15-20 mins. but is very pleasant.

Recommended routes from Metro Principe Pío
(Metro lines 10, 6 and Remal from Metro Opera)

1. Metro / Taxi from Principe Pío

Metro to Principe pio station (Lines 10, 6 and Remal from Metro Opera). Grab a taxi (or hail an Uber, Cabify, Free Now (my taxi) or Cabify). A taxi ride from Principe Pio takes 5 minutes.

Prices vary between ride apps and street taxis (white with a red stripe on the door). A street taxi from Principe Pío to the venue will cost approx. 6€ on Saturday or 7€ on Sunday, depending on traffic.

2. Metro / Bus from Principe Pío

Option 1. *Preferred*
Metro to Principe Pío station (Lines 10, 6 and Remal from Metro Opera) and Bus line 46 to the venue

  • You can get the bus from within the station or just outside on Paseo de la Florida.
  • 9 min bus ride with 7 stops. The 46 bus departs Principe Pío station every 15 mins. (or 1 min later form Paseo de la Florida. Departure at 07:50, 08:05, 08:19, 08:34, 08:49, 09:04, …, get off at “Senda del Rey”
  • 1 min walk to the venue (our volunteers will be close to the bus stop to show you the route to the venue)
  • 10-12 min total travel time from Metro Principe Pío.

Option 2.
Metro to Principe Pío station (Lines 10, 6 and Remal from Metro Opera) and Bus line 573 to the venue

  • 3 min walk to the bus which departs from Paseo de la Florida outside the station.
  • 5 min bus ride with 2 stops. The 46 bus departs Paseo de la Florida every 30 mins. at 07:40, 08:10, 08:40, 09:10, …, get off at “Séneca Martín-Fierro”
  • 7 min walk to the venue
  • 15 min total travel time from Metro Principe Pío, however bus frequency is low at every 30 minutes

Other options

Taxis and ride apps

Get a taxi direct from your location to the venue. You have a number of options:

Street hail: Madrid taxis are plentiful and can normally be easily hailed in the street.
Order a radio taxi: You can ask you hotel to do this for you.
Ride apps: You can also use the ride apps such as Uber, Cabify, Free Now (my taxi) or Cabify.

Prices vary between ride apps and street taxis (white with a red stripe on the door). Street taxis have a base rate of 2.50€ per pick up and 1.10 per km (slightly more on Sundays)

Bike rental

BICIMAD (Public bike rental service): Warning! There are no bike stands near the venue, so it’s not an advisable form of transport for getting to and from the venue
